Plum Splendor

A few weeks ago, I shared with all of you some of my Prussian crochet doilies that I enjoy making.  I know they are not for everyone’s taste and that is alright with me.  The one challenge I have had was to find ways to display them without them appearing so old fashioned.  I believe I solved that problem today with a trip to Wal-Mart.  There, I found the perfect frames for those two plum colored heart doilies.  The frames are simple and show off the detail of the stitches just like I wanted.

Each frame is 16” X 16” and was quite easy to work with.  The front glass pops out and you can mount your masterpiece with no trouble at all.  This is a great solution for anyone looking for a way to display large crochet pieces or any other type of needle work.  I am satisfied with the way these turned out.
