Writer’s Quote Wednesday

This is an open invitation to join in on my blogging event called, Writer’s Quote Wednesday.  This is your chance to highlight your favorite author’s quotes that give inspiration to you as a writer.  By sharing your quotes, we will all gain insight and inspiration to propel us forward in our writing careers.  Let’s have fun!

Writer's Quote Wednesday

There are no rules to follow.  Either make your own sayings up (because after all, we are all writer’s here) or use a quote from a famous author that you find on the internet.  Just make sure that credit is given for other’s work.  You can use Fotoflexer or any other program that you wish to make your own images.

Every Wednesday, I will post the prompt and all you have to do is participate!  I will share your images on social media for added exposure.

Just link back to this post in the comments section and make sure and “like” or “comment” on everyone else’s post.

Here is my favorite quote for this week:

I am looking forward to seeing all of your inspirational quotes!

This blogging event is in response to Blogging 101’s suggestion:  Time to expand your social circle: pick a blogging event from the Community Event Listings to try.  I created my own event to try something different.

Thanks for visiting,

  1. “Start telling the stories that only you can tell, because there’ll always be better writers than you and there’ll always be smarter writers than you. There will always be people who are much better at doing this or doing that — but you are the only you.” ― Neil Gaiman

    So true and so encouraging.

  5. A quote in a message that came to me today made me wonder how that person could see what was coming up so well. Another shock was to find out that Lennon was born just after I was!

Imagine there’s no country, / It isn’t hard to do. / Nothing to kill or die for, / And no religion, too. / Imagine all the people / Living life in peace. -John Lennon, musician (1940-1980)
