I love Sundays!  That means it is time for Amanda’s Pixel Prose Challenge.  Check out what Amanda’s challenge is all about here on her blog, “Unique Art Chic.”

This week I am nostalgic about the end of summer and the progression toward mid-autumn.  In other words, it finally got COLD in Pensacola, Florida!  BRRRRRR… it was 38 degrees F. here this morning!

Autumn's Midpoint

Thanks for visiting me this chilly morning.  I can’t wait to see you all again!

  2. What a lovely Autumn poem, Colleen. It’s a real tribute to my favourite season of all. I just wish it would last a bit longer especially as the leafs have made the ground, over here, look like a colourful carpet. It’s just beauty beyond belief. I just wish the rain would stop so I could take some pictures for you.

    1. Oh me too Hugh. I remember the rain in England. It does get quite dull and grey. The colors were astounding though against those dark skies. Hopefully, you will get a chance soon. It is bright and sunny here in Florida. A cold front moved through over the weekend but we are on the upswing in temperatures now. I am taking photography 101 so will be sharing more photos. ❤

      1. I admire you so much, Colleen, I just don’t know how you find the time to fit everything in. I did consider the photography 101 course but have so much on my plate at the moment, I felt I may have become a little stressed with it all. You’ll have to let me know how it goes and Im looking forward to seeing your photography.

        1. I work on my blogging about 3 or 4 hours a day. It is like having a part-time job. Then, I have to fit in all the rest of my chores, spend time with Ron and the dogs. It works. I am happiest when I am busy. I back off when I feel the stress… after all that is why we retired right? Hang in there Hugh. I will share with you ❤

  3. There never seems to be enough time in the day sometimes, Colleen. I love my blog so much I just want to do nothing else, but know that is not possible. Yes, backing off works when feeling stressed or, as I did earlier, do a little reading, and get away from the computer. That worked 🙂
