Premio Dardos Writing Award

Last month, my blog friend, Christine, from the blog, “Before Sundown,” nominated me for the Premio Dardos Award, which recognizes cultural, ethical, literary, and personal values in the form of creative and original writing.

I was honored and incredibly humbled to have Christine nominate me for such a high honor in our writing community.  Thank you, Christine. ❤  Please visit Christine’s blog.  She is the gifted author of her book entitled, “Before Sundown,” which she calls a true love story with a twist of humor.

Christine and I had decided at the beginning of the year, to no longer participate in the acceptance of blogging awards in order to spend more time on our writing.  However, because this award has to do with writing, and the chance for me to recognize writing ability in other writers, I decided to participate, much in the same manner that she did.

I hereby recognize the following blogs for cultural, ethical, literary, and personal values in the form of creative and original writing:

Hugh’s Views and News

Granny’s Garden

Pearls Before Swine

The Story Reading Ape Blog

Friendly Fairy Tales

Ronovan Writes

Colline’s Blog

Randoms By a Random

Kim Boxin

Behind the White Coat

Shanjeniah’s Lovely Chaos

Fish of Gold

Chrone Chronicler

Just Olga

Notes Tied on the Sagebrush

I found it extremely hard to narrow down the people I wanted to nominate for this writing award.  There are so many wonderful blogs out there that I read on a daily basis.  Your talent inspires me to reach for new heights within my own writing.

Thank you for your dedication and the care you show to other writers.  I enjoy reading the words you share.  Through your eyes, I am allowed to see into your world.

          1. Ysah! Thank you for those kind words! I am covered in stuffed animals right now, my daughter is looking for another for a bare knee. I even have one behind my head. Being a writer is easy surrounded by such love and my giggling daughter. 🙂

  2. Thank you so much, Colleen. It is so very nice for you to have thought of me when giving out this award. It is a real honour and, as you know, you caught me just in the nick of time before I to go award free.

I’ll be formally accepting your nomination at the end of this month and must remember to go get my black tie dry cleaned after that food fight we had at Lit World Interviews.
