The Quickest Plot Structure Tool There Is

Mindful Monday–Food Mindfulness

Welcome to Mindful Monday!  I have found that being mindful encompasses the act of being watchful, aware, wary, heedful, alert, careful, or attentive, in whatever area in my life I feel it applies to.  Each week I try to self discover new things about myself. This week, my friend Lia, from the Lifestyles of Lia, … Continue reading Mindful Monday–Food Mindfulness

Aging Disgracefully

I loved this take on aging disgracefully! Read what my friend Deborah has to say!

Notes Tied On The Sagebrush

I detest labels, stereotypes, and being put in a box. I have always been a bit of a rebel and will fight for your and my right to be different. Oh, how I hate conformity, how people are encouraged to march along in lock step, and never question anything. I hate group think. Pop think. Fads. Everyone following along with everyone else. Below is a video Janet Syas Nitsick and I did on publishing, specifically self-publishing.  The question came in, “What places can an author publish his book?” In this video, we answer this, but I’ll include the highlights below so you can read it instead if you wish.

There are two main options you have when you self-publish.

1.  KDP Select (which means you can only publish through Amazon).

Amazon has a program called KDP Select which is exclusive.  It means you can’t publish anywhere else.  (You can, however, publish your paperback in several places.)  This exclusivity applies to the ebook.  And you must be exclusive with Amazon for three months.  After that, you can upload your book to other sites.

When you enter Amazon Select, your book will be automatically put into Kindle Unlimited (KU), which is a subscription service that allows people who pay for it to borrow KU…

11 Signs of a Spiritual Awakening

Additional information here about spiritual awakenings!

Reiki With Friends

Spiritual awakening is an ongoing process of becoming a Whole Person. One who is balanced in Male and Female energy, and nurturing both themselves and those around them.

spiritualawakening2It happens as one is growing through the process of discerning truth in the world around you, and continually reaching higher and higher peaks of awareness, also known sometimes as simply “getting it”. It is what Maslow calls ‘self-actualization,’ Carl Jung calls ‘individuation,’ and other psychologists call ‘a fully functioning human being’ or ‘a complete self.’

This is both an internal and external sense of transformation that takes place, making the experience one that effects and is effected by the individual as well as all of those around you through a change in character, personal expression, and kindness that is displayed.  The purpose of this article is to focus on some of the stuff that people who experience…
