Fairy Swamp–A Morning Reward

2015-02-07 07.55.08

I love Fairy Swamp, which is located not far from where I live.  I caught this photo early in the morning with the sum streaming through the naked trees highlighting the murky green water below.  The sun never makes into the swamp during the other seasons of the year because the leaves on the trees and other foliage blocks it out.  I am always amazed at the simple beauty of the bare trees and bushes that make up Fairy Swamp.

This photo was my lovely reward for a wonderful walk during a cool morning and is part of the The Daily Post Weekly Photo Challenge.

Thanks for stopping by for a visit.  I can’t wait to see you all again!
