RonovanWrites #Weekly #Haiku #Poetry Prompt #Challenge #81 Trill & Final

Ronovan has chosen some interesting words this week to use in our haiku’s: trill, and final. I used “quaver,” for trill and “ultimate,” for final.

I have been working like crazy on my book, The Swamp Fairy. Many of the haiku I share have found their way into my book at the beginning of each chapter. Today, these words came to me. Hmmm, sounds like a premonition of things to come!

“The Ultimate Battle”

With quavering notes –

the ultimate fight is won,

the drum beats no more.

Thanks for popping in! It was great to see you all again!

    1. Chapter 10 tomorrow. I wish we lived closer! LOL! I did not get to write last week. Sick dogs, household issues… you know how it goes. We have a snow storm brewing so I am hunkering down in my dressing gown and going for it! By the time this book is done I will have written it entirely in my jammies! Thanks for being there, Mel. You give me strength! ❤

      1. That’s what it’s all about, giving strength and support to one another – it makes the process that much more precious. I’m a night owl, so I completely get the jammies! I hope you stay safe and warm through the storm ❤

          1. Tomorrow should be pretty amazing for me, too, but not writing wise. I’m going to a famous tea shop named Betty’s with my family, and then we’re all going to the cinema together. It should be fun. I hope you have a great day ❤

          1. Well, I will definitely be interested in reading your book but as far as copying you it would be too late. I’ve already finished the first book in the series and am half way through the second one. I would have to begin writing a multitude of haiku in the epic/dark fantasy theme. Oh well, maybe for my next book. I love the idea. 🙂 ❤
