Hugh’s Weekly Photo Challenge: Week 22 – “Group”

040616_1941_SolitudeHug1.jpg

For this week’s photo challenge from Hugh’s Views and News, we are to show what “Group” means to you. Maybe it’s a pop group or a group of people all of whom have something in common? Maybe it’s a group of animals or a group of objects in a store?

Want to join the fun? Here’s what you need to do.

  1. Take or choose a photo that you’ve taken which, for you, depicts Group.
    2. Create a new post on your blog entitled “Hugh’s Weekly Photo Challenge: Week 22 – “Group”
    3. Add the photo(s) you have taken to the post and tell us a little about what you are showing.
    4. Create a *pingback to this post or leave a link to your post in the comments section below so that other participants can view the post.

Not sure how to create a pingback? Click here for a step by step guide on how to create one.

*As Pingbacks have not been working on WordPress over the last few weeks, Hugh asks that we please leave a link to our post in the comments section so he and other participants can view the post.

group of apple blossoms

This is a “group of apple blossoms” I photographed last week here in Colorado Springs. Of course, over the past weekend, we got snow so that took care of the spectacular show that nature had prepared for us. Many of the trees in my neighborhood have buds starting to appear. I can only hope that our oak tree will soon follow suit.

Happy Spring everyone!

Thanks for stopping by,

  1. Truly beautiful blossom, Colleen. Mother Nature is playing tricks with us here in the UK with the weather. There is blossom on some of the trees but we’ve some hard frosts and wintry showers forecast for the next few days.
Thank you for such a beautiful photograph. I hope Spring comes to stay put with you very soon.
    xx

    1. Thank you, Hugh. We are going through the same thing here. Warm temperatures this weekend and then we drop off again. But, the good news is that we should get rain and no more wet, heavy snow! LOL! <3 Good luck on the house move. I can't wait to see photos! <3

  2. Late snow can create havoc… I didn’t think about flowers or animals… I saw some beautiful lambs the other day but didn’t have the camera or the phone…

  3. That’s so lovely. It reminds me of a blossom tree that grows on an adjoining street to where we live. Every year my daughters and I see it in full bloom and admire the gorgeous pink blossom, and every year we say we’ll take a photograph and miss the opportunity. This year we managed it, though the image doesn’t do it justice. Thanks for sharing 🙂
