“Ancient Songs” – A Haiku

The RonovanWrites #Weekly #Haiku #Poetry Prompt #Challenge #106 words for this week are “Sing & Flower.” To make the words a bit more colorful I used the word, “chant” for sing, and “bud,” for flower.

Nymphs chant ancient songs –

as buds raise their heads in glee,

a storm lurks above.

I am busy editing The Heart Stone Chronicles. I have decided on that title so that each book of the series can be titled by the nymph the book is about. Book One is “The Swamp Fairy.” I must say the book is shaping up to be fabulous, thanks to my fabulous editor, Melissa Barker-Simpson!

In a few weeks, I will have a cover reveal created with love by my dear friend, Wendy Anne Darling, from The Dragon’s Lair. She studied to become a graphic artist and is quite gifted, as you shall all see.

Many thanks to Ronovan for hosting my favorite challenge each week. I’ll see you next week! ❤
