Introducing Universal Book Links – Next-level Discoverability for Authors | Draft2Digital

Many thanks to Sacha Black at https://sachablack.co.uk/ for this amazing information! Had to share! ❤ Click the link at the bottom to find out about this exciting way for authors to be found!

Draft2Digital introduced Books2Read a year ago, as a first step toward providing authors with more and better tools and resources. Now, as part of Books2Read, we’re thrilled to announce Universal Book Links (UBLs).

One of the biggest pain points plaguing all authors is discoverability. Getting readers to your work is kind of the point—and yet it’s one of the most elusive aspects of the business. In part, one of the reasons for this is the fact that managing links to hundreds of ebook retailers can be cumbersome and overwhelming. It doesn’t take long for a link library to get out of date, and all the hard work you’ve put into marketing yourself on blogs, in book reviews, and on podcasts is suddenly undone as your links become out of date or even extinct.

Author: Colleen Chesebro

Colleen M. Chesebro loves writing speculative fiction and the sub-genres of fantasy and magical realism, other types of cross-genre fiction, syllabic poetry, and creative nonfiction. She loves all things magical which may mean that she could be experiencing her second childhood – or not. That part of her life hasn’t been fully decided yet. A few years ago, a mystical experience led her to renew her passion for writing and storytelling. These days she resides in the fantasy realm of the Fairy Writer where she writes the magical poetry and stories that the fairy nymphs whisper to her in her dreams. Colleen lives in Arizona with her husband. When she is not writing, she enjoys spending time with her husband. She also loves gardening, reading, and crocheting old-fashioned doilies into works of art. You can learn more about Colleen at www.colleenchesebro.com.
