Book review: Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them – Livemint

I had to share this professional book review of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them… just shows that prequels do generate interest in readers. I can’t wait to own my own copy! ❤

J.K. Rowling has penned a thrilling tale, but this time, the movie may be better

  1. Thanks for sharing–I’m off to read the review now. I did take a look at the book, and I’m a bit turned off by its play format. Books written in that format tend to slow me down a bit. Hmmm. Maybe that’s not such a bad thing…

    1. I want to keep my mind open to the screenplay. I hear the movie is fabulous. I love the way J.K. Rowlings’ mind works so I do want to give it a chance. I posted the review also because it was professional and I liked the way the writer shared their thoughts. I strive to become a better reviewer. ❤ Also, I think it is important to include a prequel in a fantasy series. I think that is something to look at. Let me know if you read it, Amy, and what you think.

  2. Colleen, the movie was FANTASTIC! I’m going to have to see it again because I missed lots of little things. The ‘beasts’ were so creative. Can’t wait for the next in this series. The actor who played the no-mag almost stole the show, but Eddie Redmayne is such a chameleon of an actor, he just made the whole thing so delightful. I’m now afraid I might not like reading the screenplay…
