4.10. Separating an Object From Its Background

These are the instructions for using GIMP and how to remove the background from an image. I used it to remove the background from my 3D book image. GIMP is another free program that will help you create fabulous images. ❤

        1. Those two posts should go together. The first one about Pixlr contains a video with instructions for GIMP that didn’t work. Once I figured it out, it was not that difficult. See what you got me into today! LOL! 😀

    1. If you follow the instructions on that site to remove the background it does work. I had to remember to save as a PNG image. Good luck. Free is sometimes better than spending a lot of money for a program you only use occassionally. ❤

    1. It worked for me. Follow the instructions and do what it says. Remember to save as a PNG. That way your book image can be placed as an overlay on another image. I used picmonkey to bring the header together. ❤
