London – November 5th, 1988

All hopes of me trying to kickstart my love life seemed to have failed. There has been so much else going on in my life over the last few months that I’ve disregarded it, and now Cupid seems to be paying me back.

The date I had with David last night was a disaster. I might as well have been on a date with a broomstick because David had as much energy as a piece of plasterboard.
