  1. Ah, the em dash. I love them too much and always have to go back to see if I could use something else instead for variety.
    Interesting the statement that putting a space before and after the dash is WRONG — I hate to say it, but that depends on what country you are in. In England, the spaces are correct.

    1. I know there are huge differences between American and British English. Frankly, if I’m reading a book or poetry by a foreign author I expect those differences. Surely, this article was written by an American and stressed what is acceptable here. I do love the em-dash, especially in poetry. ❤️
