Calcite Fairy Stones – Where to Find Them

It has been Christmas at my house today… all over again! The calcite fairy stone necklaces, made by IreneDesign2011 have arrived! One look at these magical pendants and you too will want a fairy stone like Abby wears in The Heart Stone Chronicles: The Swamp Fairy.

Here’s how to get your own:

The small calcite heart stone pendant is at the left near the hummingbird on the cover. Here is the link to Irene’s Etsy site where you can buy your own pendant: https://www.etsy.com/listing/480852170/black-silk-necklace-with-silver-wrapped

The large calcite heart stone pendant is pictured at the right just above my name. Here is the link: https://www.etsy.com/listing/480852682/black-silk-necklace-with-silver-wrapped

You can read more about Irene, who designed the necklaces here. Please stop by and check out her blog, IreneDesign2011, and let her know what you think. Aren’t the necklaces gorgeous?

HealingCrystalsforyou.com will explain the various uses for calcite. Green calcite (considered to be the fairy stone) is especially useful at the heart chakra. ❤

I’ve completed the final CreateSpace document upload for The Heart Stone Chronicles today. My heart is full! Thanks for sharing this exciting time with me.

Happy New Year!

Calcite – The Fairy Stone in the Heart Stone Chronicles

One of my favorite things about writing my first YA novel has been all the collaboration I’ve received from my blogging community. In many ways, The Heart Stone Chronicles: The Swamp Fairy encompasses the theme of family and what it feels like to belong to something bigger than life itself, which is how I feel about this community. Thank you. You have all made me feel like I belong. Abby and I seem to have much in common. 😉

It is with my greatest pleasure that I want to introduce Irene, from IreneDesign2011.com. She is one of the first bloggers that I met when I started on WordPress, and she has become a good friend. If you don’t know Irene, you will want to check out her blog. She is one of the most creative jewelry designers, and I love her work.

As I was writing the Heart Stone Chronicles, I came up with a brilliant idea. You see, in the book, Abby Forester inherits two precious things from her mother: swamp land that has been in her family for generations and a calcite pendant which is a piece of a calcite heart stone found in that very swamp.

Calcite is considered to be a fairy stone, and it is believed that it bestows upon the wearer, the magical properties of prophecy and healing.

My idea was to offer a calcite pendant similar to the one that Abby wears in the book for an affordable price. I knew just the person for the job… Irene. Now, I can’t promise fairy visitations or that you will suddenly possess the ability to prophesize the future – but you never know!

My friend, the amazing author, Eloise DeSousa, created a video (I love her accent) to introduce the pendants. (I told you this was a collaborative event). You can find Eloise here: http://amazon.com/author/eloisedesousahttp://eloisedesousa.wordpress.com.

Even though the book is not available until January 3, 2017, I wanted to share the necklaces with all of you because I think they will make an excellent Christmas present. Here are the links to the two necklaces (small calcite & large calcite):

This would be a fabulous gift for a teen who loves fantasy books and believes in the possibility of magic. In fact, I put these same links in the back of my book so that my readers could have the opportunity to experience the healing properties of calcite, firsthand.

I hope you will check out this unique gift idea. My granddaughters can’t wait to get their own calcite pendants.

to my blog family! ❤
